# Set Up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

### Step 1: Install an Authenticator App

* Download and install an authenticator app of your choice on your mobile device or your system.&#x20;

### Step 2: Access 2FA Setup in Your Dashboard

* Navigate to your **Profile** section in your dashboard.
* Click on **"Show 2FA Setup"** button to begin the configuration process.

### Step 3: Scan the QR Code

* Open your authenticator app and use the app's scan feature to **scan the QR code** displayed on your screen.

### Step 4: Enter the One-Time Password (OTP)

* After scanning, your authenticator app will generate a 6-digit OTP.
* Enter this OTP into the prompt on the dashboard.

Once the OTP is verified, you will see a **success message**, and your profile will update to show:
