Steps:

  1. Download the WindowsScript.bat file. Simply click on the WindowsScript.bat file in order to download it.

  2. Open your Windows Powershell terminal, enter “&” and then Drag and drop the WindowsScript.bat file into the terminal and press enter.

  3. In the “Enter .pem file path”, Drag and drop the .pem file into the terminal and press enter.

  4. In the “Enter the Validator key zip file path”, Drag and drop the validator_keys.zip file into the terminal and press enter.

  5. In the “Enter AWS public IPv4 and external DNS hostname: ”, to enter your public IPv4 and external DNS hostname. For example,

ec2-user@ec2-x-xx-xxx-xx.compute-1.amazonaws.com

Note: Steps to find public IPv4 and external DNS hostname.

  1. Go to the stack you have created(“cluster-creation-stack”) .

  2. In the output section you’ll find the IPv4 and external DNS hostname, as mentioned above.

💡 If you get this error follow these instructions
  • Right click on your .pem file, go to Properties, Security.

  • In Security, go to Advanced and then Disable Inheritance, on the pop-up, choose “Remove all inherited permissions from this object”.

  • Now Click on Add, then click on “Select a Principal”, and then click on “Advanced”.

  • Now click on “Find Now” on Right, and then in Search Result

  1. Choose, “Admin” and press Ok, press Ok again and in Basic Permissions, choose: “Read” and press Ok.

  • Now, In Advanced Security settings, and in Permission entries, review the permissions, Click on Apply and press Ok.

  • In Properties, press Ok again.

  • Now run the WindowsScript.bat again.

  1. Now the terminal will ask Are you sure you want to continue connecting, type “yes” and press enter. Now you will be logged into your AWS instance.

  2. Now, enter the following command for wallet creation and importing.

bash <(curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/launchnodes/ValidatorNodeProduct/main/Scripts/SetupWallet.sh) 
  1. Now, In “Set the password for wallet”, enter the password for your imported accounts(password that was used while creating your keys) and then press enter.

  2. After that select the Imported wallet option and press Enter. Your wallet will now be created.

  3. Now, It’ll ask for the password for importing your keys, enter the same password that you have set at the time of key creation and press enter. It will import your keys into the wallet.

💡 Now, Your wallet has been created and the keys have been imported to it.
