Using existing keys to run validator nodes

Staking UI enables you to deploy validator nodes from scratch and to use existing keys to run nodes. There are two ways how you can deploy a validator node by using existing keys:

  1. Recover your keys - This option is for users who have already created Prysmatic validator node keys, have their mnemonic but have lost access to the said keys. With Staking UI you can recover your keys by using the 24-word mnemonic phrase.

  2. Import keystores - Use this option if you have already created your validator node keys and have access to them.
