Introduction

Launchnodes staking UI is the most cost effective and resilient way to be a CSM node operator

The Lido Community Staking Module is a system designed to decentralize Ethereum staking by enabling the broader Lido community, including node operators and independent validators, to participate directly in the staking process. It allows these participants to manage and operate validators while still contributing to the overall Lido network, fostering greater transparency, inclusivity, and resilience within the staking ecosystem. This module is part of Lido's broader efforts to enhance network The Staking UI has been designed to address the primary challenges of solo staking: the high cost and technical complexity of deploying a node without blockchain expertise. Launchnodes' user interface simplifies the process, allowing you to set up and manage validator nodes on your own AWS account and infrastructure, ensuring exclusive access and control.

Staking UI for CSM, eliminates the complexities of having to run the whole infrastructure of EL-CL for your validator node. It eliminates the need for a full execution layer client and beacon node, reducing costs. The interface runs directly on your AWS instance, guiding you through straightforward steps to set up your nodes, while highlighting crucial security measures to protect your secrets. Once your nodes are operational, you can monitor their performance via the Staking UI dashboard or any third-party beacon chain explorer. Node updates can be performed easily through the UI with a single click.

By transforming the deployment process into a visual interface, the Staking UI removes the need to interact with the command line interface (e.g., Terminal on macOS), minimising the risk of human error and enhancing security.

Additionally, the Staking UI features a comprehensive dashboard and node management tools, which will be detailed later in the document. This package serves as a complete solution, enabling solo staking both at scale and on an individual node level.

NOTE: Encryption

When you access the Staking UI, you may notice that your connection is not encrypted. This is because the Staking UI and your node dashboard are not public websites; they are hosted on your AWS infrastructure. This setup ensures that only you have access to these URLs. As a result, Launchnodes cannot install or manage SSL certificates on your infrastructure, which is why you see the 'Not Secure' badge next to the address field.

If you want to add SSL certificates to your AWS infrastructure, you can use the AWS Certificate Manager: AWS Certificate Manager.
