Bare metal, geographic diversity, resilience, monitoring and client choice

Leveraging public cloud (Bare metal options coming soon)

Your Validator nodes run on the infrastructure you own in AWS. Launchnodes Beacon and Execution layer nodes, run on a mix of public cloud (AWS, GCP) and enterprise-grade bare metal running in SOC 2 compliant tier-1 data centres in North America, Europe and Asia.

Professional Monitoring and Alerting as a Lido CSM node operator

Your Lido CSM node will connect to a Launchnodes Beacon node that has no more than 500 validators connected to it, ensuring optimal performance. Launchnodes has 24/7 monitoring and alerts in place for all its Beacon nodes and execution layer clients to ensure uptime and node performance. Whilst taking away the cost and complexity of managing the Execution layer node and the Beacon node.

Resilience

Using your Execution layer client and Beacon node with Launchnodes in Tier-1 SOC 2-compliant data centres offers a range of benefits, particularly in terms of security, and reliability. These data centres adhere to stringent operational and security standards, ensuring that sensitive data is protected from unauthorised access, breaches, and data loss. SOC 2 compliance ensures that the infrastructure follows best practices for data security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.

Launchnodes infrastructure in Tier-1 data centres provides robust infrastructure with high availability and redundancy, minimising downtime. This ensures that your EL and Beacon Node experience minimal disruption, thanks to features such as backup power, disaster recovery plans, and continuous monitoring.

These capabilities are crucial for being a Lido CSM node operator ensuring your node run smoothly even during unforeseen circumstances. Overall, using Launchnodes infrastructure in SOC 2-compliant Tier 1 data centres boosts your operational resilience as a Lido node operator.

Geographic and Public cloud and Bare metal diversity

Launchnodes will make public the geographical location of the Execution Layer and Beacon nodes and ensure a these nodes run in different geographical locations (North America, Europe and Asia) as well as ensuring that these nodes run on a mix of public cloud and bare metal.

Prysm & Teku client choice (more clients to follow)

Launchnodes allows you to choose to run your Lido CSM node using Prysm we will be making Teku available shortly and we will enable more clients in the future, to ensure and promote client diversity. Launchnodes uses Geth as its execution layer client and will be looking to add the Besu clients.
