Exit Validator
Given the permissionless nature of CSM, Node Operators can voluntarily exit their validators at any moment. Exiting CSM validator keys works the same way as exiting solo staking validator keys.
CSM uses VEBO to request or trigger exits for validators. Node Operators can subscribe to the VEBO events to stay notified about the pending exit requests.
There are 3 reasons why CSM operators can receive exit requests from the Lido Protocol:
The node operator's bond amounts fall below the minimum threshold for the number of validator keys deposited by the CSM
To cover withdrawal requests from stETH holders
By DAO decision in some exceptional cases. This will require an on-chain vote and public discussion on the Lido Research forum.
Node Operators can choose to use CSM Sentinel Bot in order to get notifications if any actions are required.
This is a Telegram bot, developed and maintained by a member of the Lido Protocol community. You can run it on your own or use one of the community-supported instances.
Community Supported Instances:
Once redirected to telegram, click on "Follow".
Enter the Node Operator Id and you are all set!!
Community-supported instances come with no guarantee for availability of the bot. Keep in mind that this is a public instance.
Voluntary Exit
